The Chaya Sura Story
Chaya Sura Fine Jewelry was named in honor of my mother, Shelley, whose Hebrew name was Chaya Sura. The brand is a nod to the woman who shaped my appreciation for beauty, elegance, and timeless style.
While the name Chaya Sura is interpreted as living a beautiful life, to me it represents something even more meaningful—a life filled with love and intention.
My hope is that every piece of jewelry that you own from Chaya Sura carries the same sense of beauty, elegance, and timeless style that my mother embodied, allowing you to celebrate life’s meaningful moments with intention and love.
Meet the Founder
Before launching Chaya Sura, I spent more than 20 years in Pharmaceutical Sales.
Starting an entirely new career and then building a jewelry company in my late 40s wasn’t exactly part of the plan. But after being laid off in 2022, I saw it as an opportunity to pursue the creative path I’d always felt drawn to.
I’m grateful for my years in corporate and extremely proud of the career I built. Yet throughout those years, creativity was always at the heart of who I was. Whether I was designing spaces in my home, planning beautiful gatherings around the table, sourcing furniture and home décor, or searching for the perfect piece of clothing or jewelry, I always found inspiration in thoughtful design and timeless aesthetics.
I live in Philadelphia- a city girl through and through!
My husband is my best friend and my biggest cheerleader and my family and my friendships are everything to me.
I love yoga and Pilates, summers at the shore, being in my kitchen, traveling, and trying new restaurants around town.
